Mid-Summer Update
It’s been a while, summer has taken over and we are glad to have it hear. No news on the adoption front and it will most likely be that way for several months. Right now as far as the boys are concerned my eyes are on the fall and our next visit. Other than that daily prayer on their behalf is what gets us through.
Meanwhile, the last couple weeks have taken us to New York City, Newport Rhode Island, a brief stop in Philly and our favorite place this side of Heaven, Ocracoke NC. NYC and Newport were business trips for Paul that Em and I tagged along on. While I hate that he travels so much there are perks. Our week in Ocracoke is one that we look forward to all year. For those who do not know about this amazing island, google it and check it out. This is our 6th year and we plan on bringing our grandchildren there that’s how amazing it is for our family. This year was a little different as we had a teenage driver with us. The kids had a blast just tooling around the island in our jeep, top off, no doors, looking cool. The weather is always perfect and the stress-free living a much needed break. This is one of those things we cannot wait to share with our boys!!!
