Dinner out!

In this crazy and wild ride we have been on we have encountered so many wonderful people our list of “Thank You’s” just keeps getting longer and longer. Due to the media coverage, (I am going to address that in a future post) when we do go out people obviously recognize us. I have hesitated in the past to promote any specific thing on our blog. I am breaking that rule just this once. Recently I had a business dealing with the new Limp Lizard restaurant in North Syracuse. I had to cancel a catering gig last minute and felt terrible about it. Instead of being annoyed, Frank, the owner (along with his brother) who had seen the newspaper article, offered us a free meal in celebration of the boys getting home. Go figure! Kindness and generosity have not disappeared!!!

Tonight we went in for dinner. It was absolutely fabulous!!!!! Not only is the food fantastic but Frank and his staff were great. They were so accommodating to our family of seven. Frank’s smile is infectious and the boys were very animated and comfortable. They loved sitting at the counter and watching all the “machines” go down Route 11. Not to mention the many photos of motorcycles on the walls which they were enthralled with. We did not anticipate or expect him to pick-up ALL our dinners, just the boys’, but he did and we are very grateful! If you have a chance to support this local business please do! You will not be sorry, we promise!!! A picture says a thousand words and these don’t lie!!!!!!

  1. Love the smiles. I know they will bring you a lot of happness. They will really love the SNOW today and want to go and play in it. If I were 30 years younger I would have a child from Haiti. They are beautiful children. At least I get to see them at Pre-school.

  2. Thanks again for sharing these delightful youngsters with us — so good to see their too thin faces soften and fill out a bit, to hear they petition you en francais to go sledding! As to negativity expressed in your direction, just keep your feathers well oiled and focus on your God-given joys.
