Converstion

Today I had the most amazing conversation with the boys.  Just the fact that I had a CONVERSATION amazes me.  Anyway, we were riding home from school and the twins saw a military vehicle which prompted them to start talking about “Ministe”.  That is their word for military and they talk about it often. So [...]

Awesome Moment

Today I had one of those moments.  One of those moments since the boys came home where my heart melts and the worries and tantrums and issues disappear just for a moment. MacKenley and I were picking up the twins from preschool this morning.  During class they held an “Olympic” competition with games and activities [...]

NOTHING CUTER!!!

Nothing cuter than 3 beautiful boys clean & shiny after their bath AND in Footie Pajamas to boot!!!!!!

PHOTO OF THE DAY

Went to check on the boys last night and this is what I found.  MacKenley SOUND asleep (didn’t even flinch when I took the photo) with his baby precariously perched on his head.  I couldn’t resist getting a photo!!!

The penguins were the biggest hit of the day with the gift shop a close second. The weather was perfect and we had our first picnic lunch. [...]

Baby Steps

I have come to realize in just 5 short weeks that the only way to stay sane is to concentrate on the day at hand. Today. Not tomorrow or next week or next month. I am not naive enough to think because we have a couple of great days things will not come crashing down. [...]

A few ramblings and observations

Yesterday I registered two little boys for kindergarten. In September I will send one BIG boy to college. Weird! There is a young couple in our neighborhood who moved in around the time we did and had children a few years later. Their oldest is 8 or 9 & youngest is 6. We will be [...]

Ahhh! (Enjoy!)

Just some photos to enjoy from our shaving cream experience.

Here again!

As you can see my ability to blog has been severely impacted by three little energetic, curious boys. I cannot believe it has already been a month since they came home. So much has happened in just 4 short weeks. Here are a few bullet points from our first month together. They survived their second [...]
