Been a while, sorry.

Things are good.  The boys are fantastic.  Just this morning they tested OUT of ESL.  Amazing that after just 4 months they do not need extra help with their english.  I am really excited that they now get to go to our neighborhood school.  Last week we celebrated their graduation from preschool, this week we celebrate Zach’s graduation from highschool.  Life is good.

The boys continue to amaze us with how they are adjusting.  Our angriest child is now the one who is the most affectionate and loving.  Our little guy is just the happiest kid ever.  The third one continues to work really hard at getting used to his new life.  They speak a lot about Haiti, which we are thrilled about.  They also speak about being happy that they are here now.  I love you’s and hugs&kisses are come much more freely and relaxed.  We love this of course.

God knew what He was doing, as He always does, and gave us 3 guys who LOVE the beach as much as we all do.  They would go everyday if they could.  They are fish in the water and we definitely see a pool in our future.  Looking forward to our annual Ocracoke trip and introducing our favorite island to the boys.

They still keep us laughing almost constantly.  I am amazed by their sense of humor. It comes so naturally and is so witty.  They still love their music and crack us up when they perform for us.  I wish everyone could just get a small glimpse of this.

We are full force into the hair thing.  We have three guys with three different ideas of how they want their hair.  Kenzie is trying to achieve waves.  Kenson is working on locs and Kenley is still happy with the shaved look.  It is quite a subject in our house these days.  Always trying new products and looking out for advice.  Thankfully we have an AMAZING barber who loves the boys and is very supportive of all their individual needs.  We do get a mixed bag of reactions from people though.  Most think we are crazy and should just shave their little heads.  We disagree.

Em & Zach are as busy as ever.  Looking forward to the summer.

Hope to have some time soon to blog a little about some more deep issues I have brewing around in my head.  But for now this will have to do.
